Spot the leopard
Can you spot the leopard in the picture?
Confirmed it's not a trick.
If you spot it, please don't spoil the fun for others in the comments section.
Just say you found it or can't find it.
You can pretty much throw pattern recognition out as part of your technical setups if you take too long a time to find the leopard.
Don't worry.
There are other technical setups like counting waves, Fibonacci sequences, oscillators, and other myriad voodoo techniques.
Some people just aren't wired to see recurring patterns.
Self knowledge means we don't set ourselves out to fail by using tools not meant for us.

Hi SMOL,
ReplyDeleteFound it! And it is ghastly hidden.
On a separate note, I have keyed in MLFRIEND to show support.
Looking forward to your snake oil delivery.

L Young,
DeleteGood for you!
Thanks for making the time for my song and dance ;)
SMOL,
ReplyDeleteI find it quite quickly.
Coming from you, I simply know where not to look, and Volia I am right !!

You seem real excited/ passionate about this seminar. Makes you young again. LOL, did I ever mention Zen people are like old people in my mind, Zhuang Zi? Wise old man.

ReplyDeleteRichard,
DeleteGreat! Hope you had fun with this exercise..
I picked up some tips while watching a real life snake oil salesman (I'm not joking!) at Waterloo Street.
I think he comes there every time there's a crowd during the 1st and 15th of the month.
See you at the seminar!
Spotting SMOL at the seminar before the speaking event is easier.
ReplyDeleteYou see. You have good guess of getting it right. Nice pattern!
LOL!
CW,
DeleteShaving my head bald around age 36 was one of the best decisions in my life.
Other men would agonise and spend thousands on hair growth products.
I?
I just shaved it off!
Problem solved :)
I used to look nerdy; now I am cool.
LOL!
Hi SMOL,
ReplyDeleteI mentally divide the pic into columns and scanned the picture from left to right, up to down. If don't have, go to the next column and repeat again. Even my pattern recognition got pattern one!
LP,
DeleteHey!
I was going to say "not fair", but you win!
That's how Renaissance artists do their frescoes; by breaking the picture into smaller squares and recopying them onto the walls.
But then again, you're the artist in our community!
And that's why you can see crouching rabbit and soaring eagle patterns in your charts!
Remember that funny post you did years ago?
LOL!
temperament,
DeleteSome investors are very good at spotting "discrepancies" in the annual reports. This footnote and that statement in the appendix do not match... They can spot it immediately!!!???
Now that's an edge over others!
Hee hee, my koyok selling very soft sell lah. Very soft porn compared to the hardcore ones by some other bloggers ;)
Found it!! :D
ReplyDeleteHello Cultus Eric Ng,
DeleteHope you had fun!
