She went all out for it doing all the necessaries to obtain the scholarship. In the end she realised her dream on a GIC 's Scholarship studying in US. And when she was back working for GIC Singapore, she aimed to be posted in Europe to work. She also had prepared for this aim by taking foreign languages but french is her forte. After her stint in GIC Singapore, she is really posted to Europe. i think now in London. <br />Of course she has been traveling all over Europe with her friends, before. i think sometime alone. <br />But guess what? <br />She likes paintings , photography, writing best from what heard and saw. And never about making more and more money for herself. Many of her cohorts on GIC 's scholarship are so, so much into the money by now, she divulged.<br />Such a really gifted soul and not really after money aka self investment.<br />This is a case where "Fact is Stranger than Ficttion".<br />Hardly can believe, right? Here I am doing what I always wanted. It wasn't what I thought it to be, but similar enough to keep going at it. <br /><br />I ask myself is this what I want to be when I am 3 years into the job, and was contemplating very seriously for a change, into the insurance line, was preparing for the exams modules and reading the books my friend passed me to prepare for the financial exams. Luckily or unluckily, never tool the plunge. <br /><br />I have many atimes, people asking me why I am doing what I am doing now. It sound really cheesy, but I said:" I know how it sound like, but really, it has been my childhood dream to do what I am doing now" Guess my ambition never grow as I grow.
