牽阮的手

Recent events have made me realise the importance of holding the hands of our loved ones.

Words are superfluous when all our emotions can be conveyed with a clutch of the hands.

To share our pains and joys.

To tell her that I will not leave her.

To reassure that come what may, we shall face them together.

If you're lucky to have met the right woman, don't let go of her hand.

    1. Yes and no OT...

She has been with me all of my life; but I left her for the past 7 years.

When I was young, she was a giant and full of strength and energy (especially when canning me).

Now I tower above her. Her sight is blurred and her knees are in pain... (I am now her cane)

    2. It is never too late to find your soul mate. Seek and you will find it naturally.

    3. ya wait long long!

when comes to this, you need military discipline on that fellow. unfortunately his mom is getting weaker, i sure hope she can still swing her cane.

i had done 2 "boot camp" for my buddy and he is still single!

    4. 1) CW8888,

I've found my soul mate. It's just that she let go of my hand...

Maybe it's for the better. I am too individualistic and don't like the weight of responsibilities on my imaginary wings.

      2) Coconut,

It's your fault! Your "boot camp" must be so "siong" (fun and ecstasy) ) that your buddy now does not want the cow; only the milk!

  2. They say, Marriage is made in Heavens. When it's your time to say yes, you can't say no. On the other hand not everyone of us is made for marriage. In fact i can see the trend of this new generation of young people, more and more of them want every things from a union(marriage) but not the responsibility. So Easy Come Easy go is their "Motto". For some of us it seems we have really left behind some of our cave-man's instincts. Actually i think it is also because the "Fairer Sex" has become more independent, therefore has the option to walk away anytime. Some of these young people's boy-girl relationship is just like a session of surfing the internet only.

    1. Hey Temperament,

That's a great analogy! Surfing the internet only... I'll "borrow with pride" for my future posts ;)

  3. lets get serious here haha. first thing first, passing on our gens is not only our mission, its all life form. in fact this is our only purpose here, nothing else. (otherwise you should have a choice to be here or not)

second, er i forgot what, haha later....

    1. i lost my second,

so, we are all different. as in trading, we can't use one method and apply to everybody.

some will have to go "prison" cos they are too high energy and others go to "boot camp" cos they are like stone. majority of us just do it naturally and stay out of prison.

  4. i have a very controversy theory (never short of it) about gens. so strong that i can only gives example.

that is the emperor of old kingdom, they should pass the thrown (crown or whatever) to their princess instead of their prince, and the princess will pass it to the prince again.

they (kings and emperors) who pass it on only to the prince all got it wrong! you got the picture.

    1. in fact the old generation of "heavy son light daugther" got it all upside down. they surely did not get what they really want.

so the best and safer way to go is to share equally amoung family members. no such thing for me as son belongs to me and daugther belongs to other after their marriage.

    2. Not a bad idea!

We have one example in UK. King then Queen.

I guess the next one will be a King again.

    3. you are damn right. immagine you have a kingdom and was taken over by others through marriage. your own roots are ousted by another clan if you leave it to your son rather than your daugther. evolutionary wise, you lost everything.

so sharing equally is the best, no dispute, no worry.

  5. Ha! Ha!
You got it right. After marriage, daughter will usually come home with their husband to visit more often than son with their wife. Or only the son will visit. Alamak! i only got one son.

  6. Hopefully his wife knows he is the only son and she is not the only daughter, lol!

  7. here's a very chimp question, why we (guys) like woman?

don't give the crap of they are beautiful and attractive, or natural instinct, give a scientific reason.

    anyone?

    1. Why do you want a scientific reason? Has any scientist mad enough to do a research? It is the same question as why a woman and a man can not stay to be buddy for too long?

    2. ya i realised my question is out of line. i retreat.

    3. Ha! Ha! Now you know and accept that:- "At times, there is just no way for you to escape." We all are made the same in some way.
